Even though at that first meeting at our home your presentation of the services you offer was exceptional I had in my mind that you were a DJ that would play a song list that Lisa and Michael gave to you. Boy, was I wrong!! Peter, you made the whole evening a beautiful personal event. Lisa and Michael told me how you would come to them and direct the events of the evening, for example, by giving Michael his jacket and letting them know that it was time to cut the cake. I really wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the excellent service that you provided at Heidi’s and my wedding. I have to say that every one of our guests agreed that you were indeed the life and structure of the entire event.

When we were in the preliminary stages of planning our event, we had a list of vendors to choose from and interview. I anticipated the DJ choice to be one of the most difficult because I have been to a few weddings and the entire evening hinges on how well the DJ performs. We had recommendations from various sources but the best one came from Andy Barthew (Tony Barthel…a DJ friend of mine) who was performing at our daughter’s school. He spoke of you so highly that we were looking forward to interviewing you.

When we first met at our house I was extremely impressed with your high tech equipment and your professional yet extremely adaptive personality. We are a little ambiguous as you can tell by our music selection but you just ran with it and took it to the next level. I told Heidi that the price didn’t matter at this point and there was no need to interview anybody else as I was convinced that you were the right person.

As I’m sure you know Heidi and her mother hired a wedding planner who didn’t work out as anticipated to say the least. I first realized this on our rehearsal night when she was busy doing nothing. That’s when you stepped in and shined. Not only did you organize the entire wedding party but you made absolutely sure that everybody knew the agenda. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you going the extra hundred miles for us!!

The consensus of our guests was that you were the best entertainer that they had ever heard and interacted with. I refer to you as an entertainer because you are so, so much more than a “DJ” or a wedding planner. My favorite part of the evening was when the wedding party was being introduced and you took all of the little bits and pieces from our fact sheet and just put it together harmoniously to announce our closest friends.

Peter,

Sam and I cannot possibly thank you enough for helping to give us the wedding of our dreams. While we felt every vendor was important in creating our day, the most important thing to us was that we give our guests a true party. You gave us the greatest night of our lives!!!

The planning process was absolutely wonderful. You helped us map our the ceremony and reception so perfectly and gave us ideas that would never have thought of otherwise. I had no doubt in my mind that the night would progress on schedule because it was in your hands. It was such a relief to just let you have control so I could enjoy my wedding from start to finish.

The lists and the demo CD you gave us of all the songs for the ceremony, reception events, and dancing was so helpful. We were able to really pick and choose what we wanted in order to personalize our wedding and it saved so much time!

The wedding party intros were absolutely fabulous! Sam and I stood below the reception area and laughed and cried as you introduced each of our friends and family. It is amazing that you could take the information we gave you and turn it into such a perfect intro. After the introductions after dinner, we had countless guests approach us and tell us that we had the best dj ever and they have never seen or heard anything like it. We were do proud to have an original wedding dinner. 🙂 The games you incorporated to the reception dinner  – the centerpiece game and kissing couples – were great too. You know I was skeptical in the beginning, but I am so glad that we did it. Everyone loved how you had fun with the centerpiece game and the kissing couples gave us a chance to incorporate those we love into the romance of the evening.

The end of the reception with all the dancing was great. The music was perfect and I know those of us who were dancing loved every single minute of it. I truly believe that if it had not been so stinkin’ hot, everyone at the wedding would have been on that danced floor. You were able to get people excited and really include them in all of the festivities we did.

You were professional, helpful, friendly, and enthusiastic in every meeting and on our wedding day. Thank you again for being our master of ceremonies at our wedding. It was absolutely money well spent and we were honored to have a part of our special day. Please feel free to use us as references for future clients — we will rave about you! Any couple who chooses you for the wedding entertainment will absolutely not regret it!

Booking Peter with Merry Weddings was the absolute best decision we made with our wedding planning. He went above and beyond to make our wedding a celebration to remember. He helped us plan the whole schedule and took extra care to get to know our families and wedding party. On top of being an amazing DJ he also filmed our wedding for us and captured all the amazing moments of our special day. We got married two years ago this month and as I went through my computer to re-watch our wedding videos I was horrified to find I had lost all the files and I was so heartbroken that our wedding videos were gone forever. I reached out to Peter to see if he still had the videos, and to my shock he said he still had EVERYTHING on a flash drive and he mailed it to me the very next day!!
