Matt & Erin had 19 wedding party members to be introduced in an outdoor setting…so we opted for a format called “Who’s Getting Introduced Next?” which was submitted by Randy Bartlett as a creative idea in the Grand Entrance chapter of my book, “The Best Wedding Reception…Ever!”

Matt & Erin got Married!
Matt & Erin got married this evening and I had the pleasure of entertaining at their reception in Santa Ana, CA tonight. Here are some great photos I was able to take of their reception decor with my iPhone before their guests began to arrive.
I entertained at Doug & Jesse’s Wedding Reception in June of 2007. Their 5th Anniversary is coming up soon. They are also one of the couples profiled in my book. They were in the Wedding Party this evening and it was so much fun seeing them again.

Jared & Christy’s Elegant Celebration
Saturday, July 17th, 2010…Jared & Christy hosted their elegant wedding reception at Dove Canyon Country Club.
Jared & Christy's First Dance
Jared & Christy brought in King Dahl Event Design to help them create a breathtaking setting for their friends and family to celebrate with them. With pink up-lighting on all of the pillars, and spotlights on all of the centerpeices, and pink rose petals projected onto their circular, pearl white dance floor…along with some of the most ornate centerpiece floral arrangments I have ever seen and huge candy buffet that opened for the guests to enjoy later in the evening…their decor was second to none.

My iPhone photos don’t do justice to how beautiful their centerpieces truly were…but I’m sure the photos taken by their photographer, Jeffrey Neal of Jeffrey Neal Photography will be amazing to say the least. As soon as he posts photos from this weeing on his blog I will be sure to share some of them here.

I can’t wait to see how the video footage captured by Jesse Tarnoff turns out as well. He and Jeffrey both stayed to very end and captured shots and footage of Jared & Christy’s Sparkler Send-Off as they made their exit.
As awlays, it was a pleasure working with Becky Halbriech and her catering staff at the Dove Canyon Country Club.
Simon & Chrystine Tied The Knot
Friday, July 16th, 2010…Simon & Chrystine got MARRIED at Rancho Capistrano in San Juan Capistrano!

Their ceremony was on the hillside with palm trees and a lake for their backdrop and their reception was filled with laugher, kissing, and lots of dancing! Even Chrystine’s Grandmother, Audra, was seen moving and grooving as soon as the dancing started.
All in attendance were overheard telling Simon & Chrystine throughout the celebration that theirs was…The Best Wedding Reception…Ever!
It was great to work with Jack Randall of Jack Randall Photography once again along with June Abrams of Memories by June shooting video and Mary Jane with Rancho Capistrano.
Steve & Lisa’s Wedding Highlight Video
Steve & Lisa got married on April 10th and as I was only entertaining at their reception, I never got to see their ceremony until I found this wedding highlight video posted by their videographer, Aaron Novack, with Artisan Production Films.
Aaron is a very talented videographer and his editing skills are top notch as well.
Jeffrey & Michelle just got married!
Jeffrey & Michelle just got married at the Dove Canyon Country Club and their officiant was my good friend, Rev. Clint Hufft. I’ve been friends with Clint for close to a decade now…and yet this was just our third wedding together.
Clint has an amazingly robust voice and he is such a polished speaker that you can’t help but enjoy listening to his every word.

Corbitt’s True Identity…Revealed!!!
Corbitt was known to wear Superman PJs under his clothes to school when he was a kid. He would call over an unsuspecting classmate and open his button shirt to reveal the “S” symbol on his chest while whispering “I’m Superman!”
Briana wanted to surprise her hero/husband with a creative Groom’s Cake and on cue the cake was brought out while the Superman Theme began to play. Here is the cake…

After Briana told everyone the story behind his surprise Groom’s Cake…Corbitt “unveiled” his own surprise when he told Briana that he was wearing Superman underwear underneath his tux.
